The Project

Gran Casino Costa Brava's principal milestones:

2005. Conei Corporación, together with another three Catalan companies in the games sector, and Guitart Hotels, form the Atzaria Group.

2006 (October).  The Atzaria Group is awarded a licence for the casino in Lloret de Mar.

2008 (August).  Conei Corporación becomes Atzaria's principal shareholder.

2009. The final composition of the Atzaria Group is established: Guitart Hotels (20%) and Conei Corporación (80%).

2009 (November).  Gran Casino Costa Brava appears in the media.

2009 (December).  Gran Casino Costa Brava's croupier school starts.

2010. Countdown year to the opening of Gran Casino Costa Brava.

1 July 2010: OPENING EVENT

22 July 2010: INAUGURATION. Three weeks after the opening of Gran Casino Costa Brava the inauguration event is held, consisting of a party for 1,500 guests, attended by various Costa Brava authorities and prominent figures. The entire event was themed around casino games.
